Since today is the JAE posting result, so i think everybody will be concern about my result? Hmmm, IM OFFICIALLY SINGAPORE POLYTECHNIC STUDENT!
*Thank god, it's a new journey and tough journey for me.
However, those who didnt get into courses you aim/wanted, dont be depress. I didnt get what i plan and wanted too. There's always a way out of a road. Thats what i always believe. There's a will there's a way. :)
Even though many people say without certificate you're nothing, but i dont think so.
1. People in the past didnt study much and yet many people still earn alot and be sucessful, so how true can that be?
2. You may not work what you studied. I have friends, sibilings and even relatives who didnt take up jobs which are related to what they studied in poly. Thus, so what if you have that certificate? Hmm.
3. Certificate is just a piece of paper which may give you a better salary however this doesnt mean that you would know how to apply what you learn onto the job.
So now, did you actually agree with what i say? There's a way out even though you dont get what you plan.
To be frank, my brother say he know i will never take up related jobs for what im studying in. So what? Who knows? Maybe i would find interest in it?
Here goes back when im in secondary one, everybody say "eh, how come your result like that? border line passing, you confirm retain, you cannot study one la." In the end? I got in 5NA and took o level and now im proceeding to poly for my diploma. So, Life is unpredictable!
I know that interest of studies/jobs are important however what if the jobs you are interested cant provide you a stable income for you and your family? What's more?
LASTLY,
I would congratulate to those who got into courses they want, and wish the other all the best in whatever you are pursing. ALL THE BEST PEEPS! :D
